The Magic Touch

After Cassidy's busy day celebrating Nonna's birthday, Cappy put her to sleep by singing and swinging:) She loves her Cappy.

Bluebonnet Baby

Cassidy got to see, touch, attempt to eat and pick (I would appreciate nobody turning her in for this as it was her first offense)her first bluebonnets today.

Happy Birthday, Nonna!

We celebrated Nonna's birthday today by going to Boerne and having a girls day out! We ate at Nonna's favorite restaurant, did a little shopping, and then played with the ducks. It was a fun day for everyone!

Cassidy might get her serious side from her mommy...I thought it was from her daddy! (Notice the matching profiles, even the ears are identical:)

First Haircut

Cassidy got her first haircut last night. She had this Donald Trump comb-over thing going on, so she needed a trim. She sat in daddy's lap while mommy distracted her by singing...and trust me, that will distract anyone or anything!

Cheeeese!

In case you haven't seen them, Cassidy was gracious enough to show us her six pearly whites all while doing her nose crinkle...Silly girl!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Since Cassidy has an Irish bloodline from her daddy, and because her name is Irish (yes, I knew this when we named her), she wishes you all a happy St. Patrick's Day!

Busy as a spring bee

Cassidy has been very busy playing, reading her books and eating her books. I think she has spring fever. With springtime upon us (although, officially not until next week), we (I) finally got to try some of her spring outfits and we can start packing away the winter clothes, I think!

Ten months old!

Ten months old and still not crawling but she is scooting backwards and doing a lot of rocking, but mommy is okay with that...she can take as long as she likes to get the crawling down:) What she is doing is copying pretty much anything we do. For example, she shakes her head no (thanks to mommy), sticks out her tongue (thanks to daddy), says "uh-oh", waves bye-bye, gives high-fives, she says "Hi Ja" for Jack, the dog, and daddy's favorite, she says "da-da". Hopefully in the near future, mommy will start getting some recognition...I can't believe she said Jack before mama. Oh well!

Ever the serious one, Cassidy will only smile when she wants to smile.
