Robert and I took Grayson, Cassidy, Davis and Dalton (what's one more, right?) to Schlitterbahn last night. We went last year with Cassidy and we all had a lot of fun. They enjoyed the shows, lights, rides, slides, characters and, again, more Texas snow. It was a late night, but a fun night! Grayson summed up the evening pretty well by saying, "This was awesome! We can eat all of the candy we want and burn our school books!" I don't know what they are teaching them out there in California, but I might need to have a talk with his parents. :)

Christmas at the Westin
Cassidy's cousin Grayson is in town visiting and they have been very busy this last week. On Thursday, they went to the Westin La Cantera where they have a Christmas special they do for the kids. They had a great time making cookies and crafts, listening to the story about a cowboy Christmas and playing in the snow...Texas style, bubbles!

Santa Claus Year Four
I have attempted Santa Claus pictures for the last four years in a row. Some years went very well, others, not so much. What I have learned...skip the age between 12 months and 24 months to see Santa. I am pretty sure Santa Clause is their worst nightmare. Cassidy was the same way at the exact same age the boys are now. Check it out here Scary Santa. Also, you can click on the pictures to enlarge them.
This picture was the best of the bunch.
I was tempted to use this one as our Christmas card.
We even tried pacifiers, unsuccessfully.
That's my girl!

Another sleeping moment
The evening following her glove wearing episode, I found her asleep on her floor. I don't know why she was there, but I had to capture it.
She loves her gloves
Cassidy has been getting a gift for the 25 days of Christmas and one of those gifts was a pair of gloves. She apparently liked them so much, she had to sleep with them. Silly girl!
Aunt Laurel's visit
Aunt Laurel came to stay with the kids and I back in November while Robert was off hunting. Cassidy and the boys really enjoyed their time with Aunt Laurel and we enjoyed having her here. Cousin Colton even made it by to see his Aunt Laurel. Notice the picture of Cassidy with Colton. She is 3+ years older than him, but yet he appears to be the same size as her...he is a big, yummy boy!

Reason for Blog Delay
This is what I have been doing for the past month, thus the reason for no blog entries. The cast came off on Monday, so I hope to resume my posting duties.

And yet another Fall Festival
This makes number four, if you're counting. What can I say, I am a sucker for free, fun, family-friendly festivals.
