Strike Three!

December: Dalton trips and hits eye on windowsill = one inch cut down to the bone that is glued shut.
March: Davis backs into a corner of the kitchen countertop and punctures his head = one inch cut that gets 2 staples.
June: Cassidy says Davis pushed her into the wall = one inch cut that gets 2 staples.
Do you see a trend here? Every three months, someone in this household will be visiting the ER! It's a fun game we play. I wonder who's next? Kids, I think it is time to stop with the boo-boo's or mommy will be getting a visit from Child Protective Services! Seriously!

Where's Davis?

I always check on the kids before I go to bed. On this particular night, Davis was MIA from his big boy bed.

I guess the closet floor was more inviting than his bed.

Cheerios Goodness

Shame on Cassidy and Laura when they know good and well that I am trying to be real good about what I am eating. They make these delicious balls of goo from Cassidy's Cheerios cookbook that include Cheerios, peanut butter, sprinkles and candy in the middle. I only had one...okay, maybe two!

Tie Dye Party

I took the kids to Boerne for a free tie dye party in the park! I love a mess when it is not in my house. Now, if I can only find a playdoh and glitter party somewhere in town I will be doing great!

Testing out the products

The boys birthday is in 2 1/2 months, so the planning has already begun. I have learned that if you have children with summer birthdays, you better plan ahead, because places fill up fast! This is similar to Cassidy's birthday venue but it is geared more towards the little ones. They had fun "testing" the products!

Family bonding...

The family that picks together stays together. Picking berries is not for the faint of heart. Those thorns can get you! It was worth all the blood, sweat and tears to taste Steve's homeade jam. We continued our day in Fredericksburg by eating lunch up there, visiting Wildseed Farms and enjoying their patio area for about an hour while watching the kids play and ending the day by seeing the Gibson homestead which was Robert's great grandfather's home.

Beautiful girl!

We went to Fredericksburg with all the local family a couple of weeks ago. We might have just started a family tradition. We picked the blackberries and Steve made the blackberry jam. Awesome! My beautiful Cassidy was among those berry pickers.

Morgan's Wonderland

In case you haven't heard, San Antonio opened the first amusement park made especially for children with special needs. I am very blessed to have three healthy children who had the opportunity to play in this most amazing park. We decided to go the week before public schools let out so we could enjoy the quiet of the park. It is phenomenal! It is open to the public, but only with a reservation. Gordon Hartman is a home builder and he built this park with his own money in honor of his daughter, Morgan!
