That's my girl!

We stopped by a small lake close to our house last night so Cassidy and Daddy could throw a couple casts before we headed home. Mommy or Daddy cast and Cassidy gets to reel in the prize. She reeled in a pretty nice bass on her very first attempt. I am so proud of her. She is as good a fisherwoman as her mommy and I guess her daddy too :) Her brothers proudly looked on and soaked it all in for their future fishing trips as well. And here you go Aunt Kay Kay. You wanted a picture of her in her birthday outfit, fishing in her Baby LuLu outfit. Isn't that what all fishermen wear?

 

 

 

 

Cassidy's 3rd Birthday Party

We had Cassidy's birthday party at our house on Saturday. We had moon bounces for the kids and kids-at-heart, a sno-cone machine, and a pinata. It was a lot of fun and Cassidy really enjoyed herself. It was hot, but fun!

Flying High

Cappy and Nonna gave Cassidy a swing for her birthday. It only took my dad and I three comical attempts to hang a simple swing. Who knew it would take an engineer to plan out such a feat!

Robert got Cassidy a fishing pole for her birthday and we have discovered that the boys want that fish at the end of the pole, desperately!

Davis - 25 lbs

Dalton - 22 lbs 3 oz

Davis - 30 1/4 inches

Dalton - 29 1/4 inches

Davis - 47 1/4 cm

Dalton - 46 1/2 cm

More birthday pics...

No, we are not mean parents, but I just wanted to post a picture of Cassidy crying on her birthday. Why? Because it's her party, and she can cry if she wants to! :) Anyway, all of the desserts we had to choose from for her contained either dairy or eggs, so they brought her a plate of non-dairy whipped cream with her name in raspberry filling. She loved it! Cappy and Nonna got Cassidy her very first scooter which she has already mastered.

 

 

 

Three years old

Cassidy turned three years old today. I can't even believe it! I think she knew she was older and was even acting older. She sure is our big girl! The only picture I got on my camera was this morning when she got her stick pony (okay, so it's really a unicorn, but I don't want to go there), so the rest of the pictures will come later.

 

Helotes Cornyval Parade

On Saturday morning, Cassidy, Aunt Terri and I headed to Old Town Helotes for the parade for the kickoff of Cornyval. We saw horses (and poopie, which Cassidy couldn't stop talking about), bands, beauty queens, fire trucks, floats and the crazy Shriners driving their little mopeds like maniacs. It was a lot of fun, so next year Cassidy's brothers will definetely have to join us.

 

 

Nine Months Old

Davis and Dalton turned nine months old on Saturday. They are both crawling, pulling-up, and following Cassidy around the house. They both have their bottom teeth and are starting to give mommy a run for her money. I definetly have two "toddle"ers and one toddler.

In the first video, Davis doesn't want to share wormie with Dalton and in the second video he actually hits Dalton on the head a few times. Listen to Dalton grunt when Davis keeps taking wormie away :) Dalton started crawling the day after this video was shot. I guess he figured he needed to do it so he could either keep up or get away from Davis.
