The zoo adventure
We broke out of the house a week ago on a nice day to enjoy the zoo. It was beautiful and there was no one there...even better. I also broke out of my germophobic shell and decided to let the kids partake in the petting zoo. That was no small feat for me since I am terrified of them contracting some bacterial infection from petting zoos. So far, so good! Everyone is still healthy:)
Sheriff Robert
This year for Robert's birthday I let Cassidy pick out her daddy's gifts. Let me tell you, it is so much more fun that way! She chose, for him, a pink camouflage pop gun and a marshmallow blaster. I loved her choices! The sheriff's badge with his name on it was my idea. Unfortunately, he didn't think he needed either or those, so they were returned, but he did thank her with a kiss.
Tea Party
Cassidy loves hosting tea parties. If I am not available, she will invite her babies and animals. It is not a tea party without destroying, I mean neatly slicing, an apple or two.
Alamo Plaza
After church on Sunday a few weeks ago we ate downtown and then walked around Alamo plaza so the kids could play and see the horses.
The tent
Cassidy received a ladybug tent from her Aunt Terri and Uncle Steve. Cassidy, however, is not the only one who likes her tent. Her brothers love climbing through the tunnel and even Uncle Donnie got in on the action and climbed in and read Cassidy some books.
Christmas morning
Cappy and Nonna and the Vicks were at our house on Christmas morning to join in the morning festivities.
The other Christmas Eve Party
While we spent Christmas Eve with my family, the rest of Robert's family was over at Steve and Terri's. Robert's sister, Carolyn and family stayed with us so we were able to get some great pictures of them before they left for Steve and Terri's house.
Christmas Eve
We spent Christmas Eve with Cappy and Nonna at their house. The kids could care less where we are with Cappy and Nonna, just as long as they are with them. :)
Family Christmas
We had our annual Christmas get together with all the family on Robert's side of the family and it was a fun time! Lots of new additions this year and this was the best photo I could get of all six. Aunt Kay Kay got Davis a vacuum and Dalton a broom because those are their favorite things right now. When the cleaning ladies are here they follow them around everywhere, getting upset that they can't help. So, now they have their very own cleaning tools...Excellent for me!!
