ABC and La-la-la-la-la-la-la

Davis loves Elmo, especially videos. He has learned his ABC's by singing to Elmo's videos. The first video is him singing John Jacob JingleHeimer Schmidt, which he only sings the La-la part. The second video is him singing parts of his ABC's, but only because he was trying to see himself in my camera and being distracted by Jack.

Giddy up!

The kids loved riding the horses, but it was only three short weeks ago that I couldn't get the boys to even get near a horse. I had a feeling as soon as they saw their big sister riding one, they would want to do it too, and that is exactly what happened...and we are not talking ponies, these were huge horses!

Fall Festival #2

I warned you about my love of Fall(and I use that word loosely living in South Texas) festivals, so we attended yet another one this past weekend. The kids had a great time, but especially loved riding the horses.

Pumpkin Patch #3

I took the boys to a pumpkin patch playdate and they enjoyed the storytime, hay maze, corn bin, and cookies!

Stalling...

Playing with mommy's phone sure makes the time go by when you are waiting for your food.

Walk for Mommy & Sleep for Boys

I guess I would fall asleep too if I had someone pushing me around for an hour while snacking on crackers and juice.

Mommy Monday

Today for our girls day out, the activity of choice was bowling. I think she enjoyed this more than the putt-putt, although she keeps asking to play that again. We played two games. The first game mommy bowled 110 and Cassidy 87...a tad bit too close for my taste. The second game I was sure I had it in the bag until my four year old bowled a strike on her final turn, which led her to out bowl me 92 - 88. I GOT BEAT BY A FOUR YEAR OLD??? Granted she was using bumpers and this fun little contraption that helps roll the ball down a ramp and straight down the alley. Whatever, I digress! Please refrain from any negative comments about my bowling score...your thoughtfulness is appreciated!

The face of innocence...NOT

Don't let the face of my sweet, precious Davis fool you! This boy, in the last week, has lathered his hair and his brothers in a jar of vasoline, locked his daddy and brother out of the house while mommy was away, knocked our pet bird onto the floor (she is okay), put a hole in the sheet rock, and, dropped a full jar of pickles onto the floor he got out of the refrigerator. But, did I mention he can also say, "I'm sorry, mommy!" I think that makes it all better. :)

Pumpkin Love

Going right along with my love of fall festivals, pumpkin patches are also right up my alley! So, my children will have to suffer through numerous pumpkin patches before the season is over. To be contined!
