Life is rough...

Davis loves his jumper, but he gets so pooped out that he has to nap.

Coughs, Sneezes and RSV

I have always heard when one gets sick they all get sick. Well, it's true! It started with Dalton who tested positive for RSV (Respiratory Sycytial Virus). Yes, it is highly contagious. The symtoms include for most children, mild cold symptoms; however, it can also lead to pneumonia or bronchiolitis. Fortunately, Daltons symptoms did not reach his lungs and he only has a small ear infection and congestion with a pretty bad cough which causes him to gag a lot but he is doing better and is in pretty good spirits. Davis tested negative for RSV, but has a runny nose, sneezing and coughing and is pretty fussy. Cassidy has a runny nose and a cough and has been whining more than usual:) Mommy has a runny nose, sinus pressure and a headache and is also pretty fussy and whiney. Robert is the only one who is in the clear right now, but there is still time. My advice: stay away, stay very far away.

The potty pew

Davis and Dalton received this double seated potty, that we have officially dubbed the potty pew, from Robert's cousin David. He made it out of cedar and it is truly a beautiful piece of work. The two white things in between their legs are the pee deflectors and what you can't see are the magazine racks on either side and the toilet paper holder in the back. David spent a lot of time and effort into making quite the throne for the boys. Thanks, David!

Sesame Street groupies

They start so young nowadays! Cassidy was watching her Sesame Street videos and before long daddy and her brothers had joined her and I think the boys are already addicted.

Five Months Old

Davis and Dalton turned five months old yesterday. It is very, very hard to believe time has gone by so quickly, especially since my once tiny babies are already turning into big boys.

High-speed chase

Catching Cassidy smiling on camera is a hard thing to do unless of course I am chasing her with the camera:)

Two and a half...not two!

Don't tell Cassidy she is two years old, she will promptly correct you. Robert and I still aren't sure where she learned this.

ABC's and then some

Cassidy performs her ABC's for us on a regular basis, so I thought I would get it on video. The finger maneuver she is doing in the video she did not learn from me. However, if you want to be "picky" about it, she is actually scratching on the outside of her nose. Oh wait, I just remembered this was supposed to be about her ABC's:)

New Year's Eve

We went to Sea World with the kids and Cappy for new year's eve day. The weather was nice, the crowds were not bad and even though 2/3 of the kids slept most of the time, we all had a good time.

Models

Maggie, our niece, received a new camera for Christmas so she was using Davis and Dalton as models for her new picture taking skills!

Christmas morning

We spent Christmas morning at our house with Robert's family and my parents. Cassidy was very entertaining, which made me think about next Christmas with a three year old and two 1 1/2 year olds. I can only imagine:)

Story time with Kacey

While the family was here, we all went out for dinner one night and Kacey entertained the girls by reading them books. He must be a good story teller based on the girls reactions and his as well:)

Santa Babies

Santa pictures went much better this year than last year. Check out last years pictures with Santa - Scary Santa

Santa may have his helpers, but these were my helpers for the Santa pictures. I know, you thought I did it all by myself, not likely!

Photo time gone bad...

Need I say more?

Christmas concert

Robert's family came in town for the holidays and while they were here we got to babysit Addison, our great niece, one night while her mommy and daddy went to an office party. Cally, our niece, brought her boyfriend with her from Arizona. He was kind enough to play the guitar for the family, all while keeping the girls perfectly entertained. It was a fun night.
