Texas Snow Bunny?

We had a ski trip planned for March, but our plans changed so we were unable to go. Unfortunately for me, I had already bought Cassidy a snow suit. Unfortunately for Cassidy, since we didn't go, mommy wanted to see her in it at least once before I packed it away.

Cassidy is getting into everything and pulling up on anything. Today she was pulling up on her exersaucer instead of playing in it...Silly girl!

Cassidy is traveling to North Carolina this weekend to surprise and meet her Great Grandparents for the very first time. I think she misunderstood me when I said I would be carrying her on the plane, not be in my carry-on:)

Peeps and Cascarones

Cassidy spent Easter at both Uncle Steve and Aunt Terri's home and later at Cappy and Nonna's home. Aunt Terri put Peeps in Cassidy's basket, so I let her give it a try. One small bite and she was hooked, but I had to pry it away from her because she was pretty intent on finishing the whole thing.

Later at Cappy and Nonna's, Cassidy got to experience her first Cascarones, but not on her head. We broke them and then threw them in the air for her to see. She is ready for Fiesta!

Cassidy visits Big D

Cassidy and I went to Dallas this past weekend to spend time with Christine, Kevin, Hadley and Hayden. We went to the Dallas Arboretum on Friday and with unusually cold weather for this time of year, we didn't get a chance to get the pics we wanted with Cassidy in her Easter outfit in the tulips. So, we made do with what we had and took as many pictures as Cassidy and the weather would allow.

Cassidy and Uncle JD

Cassidy got to meet her Uncle JD for the first time this past week. Her first reaction to him was actually pretty funny...she started crying uncontrollably, but after a few short minutes and by JD tempting Cassidy with his phone, they were best buddies.

Eleven Months Old

Cassidy is eleven months old today! She is talking, crawling, singing, waving and just being precious:) She thinks she is hot stuff now that she is crawling and getting into everything, but her favorite thing is pulling herself up using whatever she can...I fear she will be walking too soon for mommy.

Here Comes Trouble

Cassidy has started crawling! She started Thursday and she is already unstoppable. She is obviously a bit shaky, but she will have it down in no time, unfortunately. She already gets upset when I pick her up because she would rather be on the floor crawling where just a short week ago, she couldn't wait for me to pick her up:( My baby is growing up!
