I was doing some laundry and heard the boys laughing and this is what I found. They were actually playing with the same ball...together, and not crying or fighting over who gets the ball! Thank you Lord!

Ummm...
While Cassidy was off with Daddy today the boys decided to try out her Princess dress shoes. It was quite entertaining! I don't know who will be more mad at me, Robert or the boys!
The Boys
I tried getting some pictures of the boys in their new outfits Nonna got them. Have I mentioned how impossible it is to get two almost two year olds to cooperate? I do love them though!
Fireworks
We were fortunate enough to end our busy July fourth day with my parents and their friends who live on a golf course. The fireworks were unbelievable, especially since we had a front row seat. The kids loved running and playing on the greens before the show started. Thank you Pete and Lyn!
Cassidy's crafts
Cassidy made a couple of bird feeders for our backyard birds using ice cream cones, peanut butter, cheerios and bird seed. I must admit if someone hung an ice cream cone covered with peanut butter, I would eat it too! :)
A hidden treasure
I know I have blogged about the Quad at Fort Sam Houston Army Base before, but it truly is a hidden treasure here in town. We went there after the parade and we had the place to ourselves. Where else can you go and have deer, peacocks, and ducks running loose that is not completely packed with people trying to feed them. The kids love it and I do too!
July Fourth Parade
We miss our old neighborhood and friends so we still like to attend the parade they host each year for the Fourth of July. The boys loved watching all of the trucks, dogs, balloons, and bikes in the parade, while Cassidy enjoyed catching the candy. Afterwards Cassidy enjoyed playing games and having her face painted while Dalton enjoyed petting all of the puppies, and Davis, of course, enjoyed eating all of the food!
