Cassidy went with her daddy to her first dance...just for daddy's and their little girls! My heart was melting all night just thinking about it! He even bought Cassidy her first corsage which she wore on her wrist! He wasn't sure he would be able to go because he had a meeting, but I had to remind (guilt) him that in twenty years, he would not remember the meeting, but he would always have memories of this special time. First fancy tea party
Cassidy went to her first fancy tea party for her friend Gabi's birthday party. Twelve little girls, 12 place settings with real china, 12 bowls of m&m's, sour patch kids, jelly beans and all of the finger foods you could imagine. Did I mention these were all 4 and 5 year olds? Did I mention that next time, I want to play!
Papa
We went to go visit Robert's dad at his new assisted living home on Saturday. He is doing really well there and always loves seeing his grandkids. The kids love seeing there papa as well!
Snow...in South Texas!
Don't laugh! This is big time down here in Texas! The whole city was shut down for the day as most people don't know how to drive in snow and ice. We, however, spent two hours outside enjoying it before it melted and was gone for another 25 years.
Mommy and Me
After playing at Cassidy's school, Davis and I made our way to a playground, where he could get all of my attention. He loves it when Mommy is watching him do his tricks.
School Rodeo
Cassidy had her school rodeo a few weeks ago. I brought her brother Davis along to join in the fun while Dalton played with Nonna. There was digging for gold, face painting, bandana making, bean bag throw and treasure hunting. Cassidy had a great time, but Davis really enjoyed himself at his sister's school.
