Cassidy wore her pink dress, along with the petticoat, to church on Easter Sunday. This dress was a gift for Cassidy even before she was born, so mommy has been waiting a long time to see her in it. After church Cassidy had a hunt, but not for eggs. Since she is pretty much allergic to all the good stuff that goes into the eggs, she got a bunch of other goodies, but the one thing she probably enjoyed the most were the Peeps.

Big Sister in Training...
Come early August, Cassidy will be playing a new role in her life. She is already princess of everything, miss sassy pants, and mommy and daddy's precious girl, but she will also be big sister to her twin, yes, that means two, baby brothers.

Early Egg Hunt
Cassidy went on an early egg hunt yesterday sponsered by my MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group at a local park. Since her daddy was busy working, Cassidy's cousins Addison, Tami and Kacey helped Cassidy get into the groove of things. She didn't want to let the first egg go, but after I told her to put it in her basket and she could get more, she got the hang of it in a hurry.

Just a swingin'
With spring time just around the corner the days are warming and Cassidy is running. She loves playing outside, rain or shine.

Smiles & Snacks
Since smiles are so rare for this serious girl, I had to post some pics even if her mouth is full of snacks.
Baby Houdini
Cassidy has conquered her crib! I heard her talking on the baby monitor last Tuesday around 5:00 am, so I went to check on her...there she stood, right next to her crib. Still in shock, but somehow managed to get her and myself to bed. Robert and I were getting ready around 8:00 am the same morning and I heard someone at our bedroom door, jiggling the door knob. Guess who? She has not attempted this again since then, YET, but we are considering big girl bed options now.

First Family Vacation
We had our first family vacation on a cruise ship bound for Mexico. Cappy, Nonna, Dale, Pam, Grayson and Cameron joined us on our trip. Unfortunately, I was sick (motion/sea sick)the entire trip. Cassidy, however, was having so much fun, I don't think she even realized mommy was on the ship. There were a few brief moments, I ventured out and Cappy was there with camera in hand, and thank goodness because otherwise we would of had no pictures from our trip. Here are a few pics to sum up our trip:
The Quad
The day after Christmas we took Cassidy to the Quad at Fort Sam Houston so she could have a close encounter with the deer (much different than the encounters her daddy and his guns have with them) and the ducks and peacocks.
