Cassidy had her last summer class and the parents got to attend to see a final performance. I forgot her bag with her tap and ballet shoes, but she didn't seem to mind. Again, too cute!

All Girls Party
Addison had an all girl party for her 5th birthday. There is nothing cuter than a room full of adorable little girls!
Cassidy's favorite part about the party was when Pirate Kacey made a brief appearance and the girls got to pelt him with water balloons! I wonder if he makes appearances at other parties.

Future firemen?
While waiting for Cassidy in dance class, the local fire department was practicing emergency drills out in a nearby field. We got to see the Life Flight helicopter fly in and land at least a dozen times and the boys even got to sit in one of the firetrucks. We love free entertainment!
Giddy Up!
Laura and I took the kids to a new play place. It is cowboy themed and too cute! The giant hamster wheel was the most entertaining for both the kids riding it and me watching it. The zipline was also a really cool feature. Everybody got into the swing of things by sporting costumes and hats, even Laura!
First Sleepover
Cassidy's cousin, Addison, came with us to see Cassidy perform at the halftime show. We followed this event to have our first sleepover. The girls did great! They didn't fall asleep until close to 11:30, but that was only because they kept switching beds, coming out for water, and doing whatever else they could to stay up late! Addison went with us to church on Sunday so we dressed the girls in their matching dresses! Too cute!
She's a Star!
Cassidy has been involved with Kinderdance for the last two summers. They learn ballet, tap and dance. This year they had the opportunity to perform at the halftime show of the Silver Stars, our WNBA team. She did great! We brought her cousin Addison along to join in the fun.
Quad with Cousins
Tami and I took all the kids out for a touristy day around San Antonio. We started at the Quadrangle at Fort Sam Houston where we had a picnic and fed the deer, peacocks and pigeons. We ended it on the Riverwalk for a very hot, to say the least, boat ride. They enjoyed their treat after the boat ride indoors in the air conditioning more than the boat ride itself. Oh well, we can mark that one off of our list.
August 2nd, 2011
Three years ago, we welcomed two beautiful baby boys into our family. What a blessing Davis Graham and Dalton Burns have been! On their actual birthday, we went to Rainforest Cafe so they could go into sensory overload on their special day! I love you baby boys!
