The bride-to-be

Cassidy went to the bridal shower with mommy for her soon-to-be new cousin, Katie. Tami, Aunt Terri and Aunt Lesley took turns with her so I could stay off of my swelling feet and growing belly.

Trip to Houston

We went to Houston this weekend with Aunt Terri, which Cassidy pronounces "Torry", for Katie's bridal shower. Katie will be marrying Cassidy's other cousin, Jed, in May. Tami and Addison made the trip as well, so there was plenty of play time, snack time, bath time, and Mama Gale time.

The Flower Girl

Cassidy was the most beautiful flower girl I have ever seen. She did Jason and Amanda and mommy and daddy very proud by walking right down the aisle like she was supposed to do. She didn't manage to get the flowers out of the basket, but that could have been because she was too distracted (mesmerized) by the ring bearer shedding his coat halfway down the aisle. Anyway, she made us very proud!

The Wedding

The wedding was beautiful, the bride was glowing and the groom was ready. Welcome to the family Amanda, we love you!

Rehearsal Dinner

A week ago Saturday was Jason (Cassidy's cousin) and Amanda's wedding. The rehearsal dinner was on Friday night where the actual rehearsal was taking place as well. Cassidy was the flower girl for their wedding, but had been running a very high temperature since Wednesday. So, on Friday night she was not there and mommy (and the boys) stood in as flower girl.

Day at the zoo

We went to the zoo last week with Tami and Addison. I might be a tad biased, but those are the cutest cousins I have ever seen:)

Fiesta with Cappy and Nonna

Cappy and Nonna took Cassidy to Fiesta Texas last week so mommy could take a short break. As always, she was afraid of the characters, loved the train ride and didn't want to come home.

Pretty in Pink!

Cassidy wore her pink dress, along with the petticoat, to church on Easter Sunday. This dress was a gift for Cassidy even before she was born, so mommy has been waiting a long time to see her in it. After church Cassidy had a hunt, but not for eggs. Since she is pretty much allergic to all the good stuff that goes into the eggs, she got a bunch of other goodies, but the one thing she probably enjoyed the most were the Peeps.

Big Sister in Training...

Come early August, Cassidy will be playing a new role in her life. She is already princess of everything, miss sassy pants, and mommy and daddy's precious girl, but she will also be big sister to her twin, yes, that means two, baby brothers.
