The Best Mistake

When I took the kids to get their haircuts, Cassidy was first. The only thing I told the stylist was that I wanted to go shorter and then I had to tend to the boys who were feverishly getting into everything they could get their hands on. By the time I made it back to Cassidy, the stylist had her hair pinned up and the back layer of her hair cut all the way up to her hair line. My intention was a short bob, but we ended up with an angled bob! I love mistakes like that, especially when my baby girl loves them too!

Sunny day + Bubbles = Pure Joy

Oh my Dalton!

I took the kids to get their haircuts last week at one of those kid-friendly places where they are over-stimulated the entire time they are there. Cassidy originally chose the Barbie Mustang but changed to a regular chair and Davis and Dalton got to choose between a yellow race car and Hummer. Once Cassidy ditched the pink Barbie Mustang, Dalton made a B-line for it. What can I say? He likes a little bit of style!

First milkshake

Davis and Dalton got to experience their first milkshake. They probably would have tried it sooner, but we usually do not eat things that Cassidy cannot have because of her dairy and egg allergies. Let's just say the boys were both pleasantly surprised and mad at me that they hadn't had this phenomenon sooner!

The Wiggles

Davis and Dalton's latest obsession would be the Wiggles. I had never even heard of them until we went to Six Flags where the toddler area is Wiggle-themed. Ever since that first visit, they. can't. get. enough. of. the. Wiggles. Oh, and in case you were wondering, the Wiggles is four grown men who sing and dance for kids...no comment from me!

Horses, goats, donkey and dogs

We visited a friends house a few weeks ago who, lucky for us, has a bunch of animals. Cassidy loved the horses, Davis the goats, and you would have thought Dalton had never seen a dog before the way he was mesmerized by them! The donkey was my favorite. He was blind so he would follow you around by keeping his nose on your rear-end. I wasn't sure of his intentions at first until they explained to me why he does that. :)

Oh, Yes, he did!

Potty-training has begun in this household! YEA! Now, if I can just get the other one to join along in the fun...

Clean-up

When I say clean-up, I mean clean-up! What? Doesn't everyone use a rake and a head lamp to clean their living room floor after Christmas morning?

I spy...

Somewhere in that heap of Christmas boxes Jack and Lady are buried and they need to be dug out!
