Cassidy and Davis both passed their swim level this week to move on to the next. Dalton is only two more skills away from moving up. Cassidy is now in her final class, which now teaches more of the competitive style strokes. This summer will be the end of her classes and she has learned a lot and made this mommy feel much better about her being in the water.

Ready for the parade
Mom and Dad took the kids to the July 4th parade in our old neighborhood. As always, the kids loved the parade, pets, candy and time with Cappy and Nonna, while we enjoyed some quiet time alone!
VBS buddies
The kids enjoyed their week at Vacation Bible School together. Cassidy and the boys loved telling me about the times they would run into each other throughout the day. I love that my kids love each other...most of the time!
Day of rides
Laura and I took the kids to Fiesta once again, but for Cassidy the main purpose was to conquer the newest ride, the Sky Screamer. She and Laura did just that while the boys and I looked on in horror.
Weekend at the Ranch
Robert was brave once again and decided to take the whole family out on another adventure to his lease in Junction, Texas. We were greeted by the local horses and started our exploring adventure in Robert's jeep. We searched for arrowheads and fossils. We found a really cool frog at our hotel that evening. We spent the next day fishing, swimming and tubbing in the Llano River. And my bunkmates for the night were the boys while Robert had the pleasure of keeping Cassidy in his room. This was definitely an adventure and a fun one it was!
And the fun never stops
We can make a family event out of anything. On this day, it was giving Jack and Lady a bath. The family that bathes the stinky dogs together, stays together!
