Bluebonnets were scarce this season due to our drought last summer, but I had been scouting for any good spots and I found a perfect backdrop. The kiddos are pretty perfect too!

Project Pickle Bear
The boys preschool class has a bear that they have named Pickle Bear. Each child gets a turn to take Pickle home and care for him for a week and then tell of their adventure. Cassidy did the same thing when she went there, but the bears name was Red Bear.
Just some light reading...
I caught Dalton being all adorable in the backseat with his legs crossed while "reading" a magazine.
My little monkey
Cassidy is such a little tomboy. I was the exact same way as a child, but I also had an older brother to teach me the ways. She is this way all on her own.
Guadalupe State Park
The kids and I got to go hiking with their cousins out at the Guadalupe State Park. We had never been out there and it was gorgeous. Our hiking, pinic trip also turned into an improptu swimming with all clothes on trip.
We love froyo!
I treated the kids to frozen yogurt after school one day and they were so excited. I quickly learned it is not the yogurt but the candy that goes in it that they all love so much. They are smart, I tell you!
Rodeo with the boys
Davis and Dalton had their rodeo roundup at their preschool. They were, of course, the cutest little cowboys this side of the Pecos.
My precious little men
Daddy and Cassidy stayed home sick from church, so I had these two handsome dudes escort me to church.
Zoo time
I took the kids to the zoo back in December and the weather was a gorgeous 80 degrees. Cassidy insisted on bringing her sketch pad so she could draw the animals. My little artist.
