Busy as a spring bee

Cassidy has been very busy playing, reading her books and eating her books. I think she has spring fever. With springtime upon us (although, officially not until next week), we (I) finally got to try some of her spring outfits and we can start packing away the winter clothes, I think!

Ten months old!

Ten months old and still not crawling but she is scooting backwards and doing a lot of rocking, but mommy is okay with that...she can take as long as she likes to get the crawling down:) What she is doing is copying pretty much anything we do. For example, she shakes her head no (thanks to mommy), sticks out her tongue (thanks to daddy), says "uh-oh", waves bye-bye, gives high-fives, she says "Hi Ja" for Jack, the dog, and daddy's favorite, she says "da-da". Hopefully in the near future, mommy will start getting some recognition...I can't believe she said Jack before mama. Oh well!

Ever the serious one, Cassidy will only smile when she wants to smile.

The blue dress I wore as a baby has officially been passed down to Cassidy. Robert and I are still trying to see the similarities, if any, other than the dress because it sure isn't the hair or lack thereof.

What a big girl!

Cassidy went in for her 9 month check-up on Tuesday and she has grown two inches and gained two pounds since her 6 month check-up. Make it stop! Anyway, here is a clip of her doing her latest trick...pulling herself up on her knees in her crib. I was showing Robert how she has been doing this and to both of our dismay she pulled herself up to her feet. Oh yeah, make sure you notice the nose crunch at the end, Nonna's favorite thing!

Super Bowl Sweetie

Cassidy went to her first Super Bowl party and she certainly knows how to party! She played hard and she played fast until she could play no more:)

Nine Months Old

Can you believe it? I sure can't! Our baby girl is nine months old today! I am pretty sure the saying, "time flies when you are having fun" came from a mother. She is so much fun and makes us laugh so much. These pictures include many of the things she does during a typical day such as playing, reading, attempting to start crawling, bouncing and just being silly. We let Cassidy stay up a little later than usual tonight so she could spend some time with Cappy and Nonna after their dinner celebrating their 40th anniversary.




Any day now the fun will really begin! She is warming up those arms and legs every chance she gets. She still keeps her buddy, Jack, close by to entertain her.

Mommy wanted a photo in the yard, and I didn't realize it until we were out there, but that was her first time to get to feel grass!

Behind bars

Since I had to raise the rails on Cassidy's bed (refer back to post "Caught") she always looks like a little jail bird peeking out from behind her bars.
