We celebrated Davis and Dalton's birthday the weekend before their actual birthday. We had it at a small children's play place and with my three kids, there were 14 kids total. Not too big, not too small, just right! All the kids seemed to enjoy themselves and the boys really had a great time! After playtime, food, playtime again, then cake time, the boys got to break into the presents. Woody and Buzz Lightyear were the big hit this year.

We've got a swimmer!
She passed the last skill to get into her final swim class which is entitled "Swimming". We are so proud of our little girl. Now, if she can teach her brothers a thing or two. They will start in the Spring.
Cheap entertainment
Ever since putting out our bird feeders and bird bath, we get quite an entertaining display. There is one squirrel in particular who regulars the hangout and let's just say he has made himself quite comfortable.
Young Chef's Academy
I bought a groupon coupon a while back for a kid's cooking class. I had been wanting to take Cassidy since she loves helping in the kitchen, and she loved it! She made a version of a rice krispie treat with raisins and craisins in it, which was very yummy. She also made a waffle type snack with apples in it...YUM!
Rhino Beetle
The kids and I were at the pool and we found this guy in the swimming drain. We played, touched, pet and whatever else you can do with a giant dead beetle. Fast forward about five hours, dead beetle was alive and well! I still have the heebie jeebies!

Strike Three!
December: Dalton trips and hits eye on windowsill = one inch cut down to the bone that is glued shut.
March: Davis backs into a corner of the kitchen countertop and punctures his head = one inch cut that gets 2 staples.
June: Cassidy says Davis pushed her into the wall = one inch cut that gets 2 staples.
Do you see a trend here? Every three months, someone in this household will be visiting the ER! It's a fun game we play. I wonder who's next? Kids, I think it is time to stop with the boo-boo's or mommy will be getting a visit from Child Protective Services! Seriously!
